HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE:
Saturday & Sunday November 16th & 17th
12:30 PM – 5:30 PM
GUNSTOCK Firearms & Training is dedicated to providing the community with quality firearms training with emphasis on safe gun handling. GUNSTOCK’s firearm instructors became certified by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in order to volunteer their services and put on FREE hunters education classes. The hunter education program is designed for every age and ability with little or no knowledge of hunting or firearms.
The course covers a range of topics, from conservation, safety, and ethics to the proper handling of shotguns, handguns, archery gear, and more. You should not bring firearms or archery equipment to class – all necessary equipment & study materials will be provided in the class.
Once you’ve completed the course work, you will be given a 100-question test which includes a mix of multiple choice, matching, and true/false questions. A student must score 80% or higher on the test to pass and obtain certification. All students 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by a pre-registered adult.
